M1 closed in both directions after bridge drama
Police and an air ambulance have been called to the M1 between Junctions 5 and 6 after receiving reports of concern for the welfare of two people.
Hertfordshire Constabulary said they received several calls from concerned passersby about two people on a bridge between the two junctions of the M1 at around 10.50am today.
The ambulance service is also currently in attendance and the road has been closed in both directions.
