Have your say on Rickmansworth Aquadrome extended hours proposal

Watford Observer: Have your say on aquadrome extended hours proposal Have your say on aquadrome extended hours proposal

Residents are being invited to have their say on whether Rickmansworth Aquadrome should stay open until 9.30pm during the summer months.

Three Rivers District Council is considering the proposal to keep the aquadrome open an hour later from May 1 to September 30, after a suggestion was made at a recent forum.

The motivation for the extension of opening hours is to limit the number of cars that are locked in the carpark over night, which sometimes results in either local clubs or the out-of-hours council service assisting in the opening of gates to release the cars.

Extending the opening hours during summer months is good, it's still light, so why not. As long as we don't get yobs wandering around with cans of alcohol. Banning the ski boats and water skiers before the banks are completely washed away would be very good!!!!! They don't belong there, there are disused gravel pits that are used already for this. Every one entering the Rickmansworth Aquadrome has to pass these skiers traveling at lord knows how many knots. There will be an accident one day where a member of the public gets hurt, one day!
