16-year-old boy stabbed in Home Pizza, in The Brow, Garston
Two teenagers have been charged after a 16-year-old boy was stabbed in the back in a Garston takeaway.
Hertfordshire Constabulary said boy was wounded in Home Pizza, in The Brow, at around 4.50pm on Saturday.
He was treated by paramedics at the scene and then taken to Watford General Hospital before being discharged later the same day.
Since then, David Cochrane, 18, of no fixed abode has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm, possession of a bladed article, two incidents of criminal damage and breach of bail conditions.
A 17-year-old boy from Watford has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm, possession of a bladed article and breach of bail conditions. They are both due to appear at court this morning.
Chief Inspector for Watford Dave Wheatley, said: "Incidents of this nature are rare in Watford and we will not tolerate this form of behaviour in the town. Anyone found to be behaving in this manner will be dealt with robustly by police.
"Investigations into this incident are on-going and I am appealing to anyone who has any information about this incident to get in touch.
"We currently believe that the victim and suspects are known to each other and we believe this is down to an on-going dispute between the parties involved."
