Staff from the Watford Observer this week presented a cheque for more than £2,300 to Hertfordshire's children's hospice, Keech Hospice Care.
The cash was raised during a fun day held last July at the Metropolitan Police Sports Club in Bushey to mark the newspaper's 150th anniversary.
Promotions manager Ellen Dean is pictured with work colleagues handing the cheque over to Laura Ansell from the hospice.
The fun day was such a success that a similar event is being planned for Sunday, July 6. Once again it will feature a challenge football match against the Arsenal legends, music, dancing, food and fun.
If you are interested in taking a stall at the fun day or performing there, contact Ellen on 01923 216370 or by email on edean@london.newsquest.co.uk.
