Council funds trees to make roads greener
New council-funded trees are set to be planted in central Watford.
Hertfordshire County Council has paid £360 towards the initiative in Lord Street and Queens Road, which is part of efforts to make the area greener.
The money has come from the council’s locality budget scheme.
