When Queen Mary visited the British Industries Fair at Olympia on Tuesday she was very interested in the Naturecraft exhibits. Mr George J Roberts of Bushey, was himself at the stand, which is in the fancy goods section.
Her Majesty’s purchases included six models of freshwater fish, three paperweights on glass bases with owl, kingfisher and pheasant made from larch cones, beech nuts and sycamore seeds; and an ingenious set of bookends connected by an elastic extender with owl on plinth.
