A runner from Bushey has joined a team representing a children’s cancer charity in the London Marathon.
More than 1,200 runners, including Tony Antoniou from Bushey, will be taking to the streets of London in April for this year’s Virgin Money London Marathon, in a bid to help raise millions of pounds for children suffering from cancer.
Children with Cancer UK is the leading national children’s charity dedicated to the fight against childhood cancer.
Mr Antoniou is busy training hard for the big day and hopes to raise £1,000.
The 56-year-old sales manager said: "I say it every time, ‘never again’ but kids are our future and we should given all the help we can."
The marathon will take place on April 13.
