Part of a Rickmansworth main road remains shut due to a second burst in the pipeline.
Affinity Water is working to repair the damage from the burst pipe in Uxbridge Road, which resulted in water reaching up to a foot in depth yesterday.
Sue Pavey, spokesman for Affinity Water, said: "The A412 between Denham Way and Grove Road remains closed following a separate burst along the same main pipe that Affinity Water engineers repaired on February 24.
"We would like to apologise for any disruption caused by the bursts and would like to thank our customers for their patience whilst we work to complete these repairs."
The road was initially closed at 12.56pm yesterday between Denham Way and Grove Road.
