One person had to be taken to hospital after two cars crashed in Oxhey this afternoon.

Police, firefighters and paramedics were called to Pinner Road at 1.54pm following reports that two cars had crashed.

There were concerns that people were trapped in the silver Ford Focus and silver Vauxhall Corsa following the accident.

One person was treated at the scene and another was taken to Watford General Hospital with what are believed to be minor injuries.

The cars’ drivers have arranged their own recovery.
