Motorists can expect delays as two-way signals are in place on a main Rickmansworth road to allow a variable message sign to be installed.

Traffic control will be in place on London Road, near Batchworth Hill, from today until Monday.

The work will be carried out by Ringway, working on behalf of Hertfordshire County Council.

Latex the two way sign is temporary until the variable message sign is erected. Assume it means they will block off one side of the carriageway and use the two lanes as a two way diversion during the works. Probably located there to update motorists of any problems on M25 & local Trunk roads.
