Two fully-restored vintage Bentleys will form the backdrop for a 1920’s and 1930’s history day at Breakspeare School in Abbots Langley on Tuesday, March 18.

There is a full day’s program focusing in on the era,  with children and staff dressing up to experience the golden age of transport, frozen food, sport, recreation, work and the advent of chocolate chip cookies.

There will also be a box car rally, historic demonstrations and a "Putting on the Ritz" tea dance in the afternoon.

The school is working in conjunction with Watford Museum and Parmiter’s School to help children learn about the era.

The day will kick-off at 10am and carry on until 3pm. Lunch will be served for guests at 12.30pm.
