The Home Secretary visited Hertsmere last week to outline current and future plans on terrorism and how to reduce immigration.

Theresa May MP spoke at a Conservative party dinner last Tuesday.

After a 15-minute speech outlining plans for combating terrorism and reducing immigration, the Home Secretary took questions from the guests.

A vote of thanks was given by Hertsmere MP, James Clappison.

Council leader and local ward member Morris Bright said afterwards: "It was great to be able to welcome such a senior member of the Government to Hertsmere and hear first-hand of the important work being done to keep our country safe."
