An "outstanding" pupil from Radlett has been elected as a Youth MP for Hertfordshire.
Immanuel College pupil Charlie Coverman won the Hertfordshire district election and is now a member of the UK Youth Parliament.
After a hard fought campaign supported by his fellow pupils at Immanuel College, the 15-year-old from Radlett said he feels very excited to represent all the youth of Hertfordshire. In particular he will be addressing issues on their behalf and promoting their interests.
Mr Spitz, head of English, believes that Mr Coverman "is an outstanding individual who has a genuine passion for politics".
Mr Spitz also said that "he is an eloquent and erudite speaker whose presence in the House of Commons will make a big impact."
Charlie started his duties this week.
