Civic Awards celebrate the best of Abbots Langley

Abbots Langley Parish Council presented the annual Civic Awards at their full council meeting this week.

Chairman of the parish council, councillor Gloria Keaveny, presented the awards to the winners of each category.

The Local Community Group was won by Royal British Legion, Abbots Langley branch, the Service to the Local Community award was presented to Mullany’s Coaches, and the Outstanding Individual Achievement accolade went to John Fisher, of The Monday Club.

Councillor Keaveny said: "The Civic Awards are an important opportunity to recognise the service individuals, community groups and organisations give to the local community and their contribution in keeping Abbots Langley a vibrant community."
