A South Oxhey Initiative public consultation event will be held later this month.

Three Rivers District Council is preparing to submit an outline planning application to redevelop the centre of South Oxhey.

Ahead of the application, a consultation is being held for residents on Thursday, March 27.

Residents who wish to see the plans and discuss them can meet in Watford Rural Parish Council, in Oxhey Drive, anytime between 10am and 8pm.

Shop keepers in South Oxhey will have a chance to see the exhibition boards the day before the public consultation event.

The district council expects to hold a second public consultation in early June, with the application being made later in the month. Plans are that the proposals will be heard at the district’s October planning meeting.
