A West Watford convenience store was held-up by a knife-wielding robber.
Hertfordshire Constabulary said the raider entered McColl’s, in Tolpits Lane, at around 10.45pm on Thursday, and brandished the blade at a shop worker.
Officers said money was then taken from the till before the suspect made off on foot towards the Croxley View estate.
No one was injured in the raid.
The suspect is described as a slim, white man who was wearing a black top with three stripes on the sleeve.
Hertfordshire Constabulary is asking for anyone with information about the robbery to contact the force via its non-emergency telephone number 101.
