A goal keeper was rushed to hospital after he was knocked unconscious on Sunday at an under 18s football match.

The game was taking place at Kings Langley football club at around midday.

Another player collided with the goalkeeper and he was knocked unconscious for around 30 seconds.

Paramedics attended the scene and took the player to the Lister Hospital in Stevenage.

He was released from hospital yesterday and is said to be doing well.
