More than 200 Guides from across the county were in Radlett for a varied day of activities to celebrate 100 years of Guiding.

The event took place on Saturday March 8, when Guides travelled to wither the Woodland Lodge in Scrubitts Park Road or the complex at St John’s Church in Gills Hill Lane.

Activities included climbing, jewellery making, science activities and musical activities.

One of the organisers, leader Verity Maclachlan, said: "The girls enjoyed challenging themselves outdoors and trying a variety of other activities while making new friends with Guides from other parts of the county."

The guides were supervised by a large number of volunteers.
