A local author visited a school in Bushey to celebrate World Book Day.

Tracey Trussell is about to release a new book "So What!" and was invited to St Hilda's School last week to give a pre-launch reading and signing of her book.

She said: "Everyone had a ball - the teachers loved the moral behind the story, and the girls were enchanted by the fabulous illustrations and the glitter."

Mrs Trussell will be visiting a number of local schools, nurseries, the Rainbows and Guides over the weeks leading up to publication date in April.
