Chairman Les Mead
A total of £1,000 was raised for the chairman of Three Rivers District Council’s chosen charities last Thursday.
About 100 people formed 13 teams at Les Mead’s quiz night, which was held at Three Rivers House, in Northway.
Councillor Sara Bedford compiled the questions and quizzed the teams. There was also a raffle, which brought in £277.
The overall winners of the quiz were Let’s Get Quizzical, from Harrow.
