Police are not linking two knife robberies that happened days apart from each other in West Watford.
On Thursday a knife-wielding man held up McColl’s convenience store, Tolpits Lane, before making off with money from the till towards Croxley View.
Then on Sunday night a man was stabbed by a balaclava-clad assailant during a robbery in Hadgen Lane.
Hertfordshire Constabulary's enquiries have led officers to treat the incidents as unrelated.
Anyone with information about either incident is urged to contact the force via its 101 non-emergency number.
