A special event will be held next month to mark Carpenders Park Station’s centenary.
The Prestwick Road station will be 100 years old on April 1, and to celebrate a blue plaque will be unveiled in the ticketing office.
Members from the Our Oxhey group will be gathering at the station at 12.45pm, ready for the plaque unveiling at 1pm.
This will be followed by a reception and a free exhibition at 1.15pm at Oxhey Library, in Bridlington Road.
The exhibition, which will include photos, maps and a detailed history of the station, will be open to residents.
Refreshments will also be provided.
