Peace Hospice Care lottery winner gives £150 back to charity

The winner of the Peace Hospice Care Winter Draw was Peter Livermore of Rickmansworth who picked up the £1,000 top prize.

He said: "I’m really delighted to have won the first prize. I’ve supported Peace Hospice Care for many years now.

"It is a great local charity and I am happy to donate £150 of my winnings back to the cause."

Additional cash prizes of £500 and £200 went to the lucky runners-up.

Almost 900 took part in the draw which raised almost £18,000 for the charity.

Peace Hospice Care direct marketing manager, Darren Beharry said: "What a wonderful response we’ve had to the Winter Draw. The funds will help us continue to provide free specialist support to people from across South West Hertfordshire with life limiting illnesses."
