There will be barrels of fun at the second annual beer festival being held at Fullerians Rugby Club in Coningesby Drive, Watford, for three days from Friday, April 4.

This years event, which will feature 40 craft beers and 10 ciders sourced by the independent Tring Brewery will raise cash for Peace Hospice Care and the rugby clubs own appeal to raise cash to rebuild their clubhouse.

As well as the Tring offering, Fullerians' regular bar will also supply beers supplied by Wells & Young and Watford's own local brewery Pope's Yard.

The event, which is sponsored by three companies, Travis Perkins of Rickmansworth, Doggy Day Trips and Ash Logistics, will be opened by the Mayor of Watford Dorothy Thornhill on the Friday at 7pm and the MP Richard Harrington has also promised to put in an appearance during the weekend.

There will be three full days of entertainment with bands, food, and a fun day Sunday with bungee run, rugby ball rodeo, a rugby shoot out, bouncy boxing and displ;ays of hawk flying, weather permitting.

Entrance to the festival is free and it is open from 6pm until 11pm on Friday, 11am until 11pm on Saturday and 11am until 6pm on Sunday, or until the beer duns dry.
