Nearly £2,000 was raised by a Northwood school during its charity day on Friday in an effort to raise money for a hospital cancer centre.
St Martin’s School, in Moor Park Road, raised a total of £1,930 at the event which was in aid of Mount Vernon Cancer Centre.
The money will go towards the purchase of a set of iPads or tablets for patients receiving treatment at the centre.
Pupils throughout the school wore mufti in their patrol colours of red, blue, yellow or green.
There was a range of events held throughout the day including a coin relay, a tug of war and a staff talent show.
