Fire fighters were called this morning to help a child who was locked in a house.

The crew from Watford were called to Sheepcot Lane at 10.52am by a mother who had become locked outside and needed medical attention.

The fire fighters entered the property and the mother and child were reunited at 11.15am.

There does seem to be a lot of it about. If I thought the child was in any danger then I'd be in through a window or kicked down a door before a fireman could even put his hat on.
I Googled the cost of an emergency locksmith and it was cheaper than I thought.
