A boxing initiative operating in north Watford and Garston has received a council cash grant to aid its efforts.

Box Cleva, which helps troubled youngsters by training them in the disciplined sport, was awarded £500 from Hertfordshire County Council to help buy T-shirts for its members.

The money has come from the council’s locality grant scheme.
