Police have released CCTV images of a woman after a bank card was stolen in Abbots Langley and used to withdraw cash from the victim’s account.
Hertfordshire Constabulary said the victim was in a café in High Street at around 2pm on Friday, February 28, when the theft happened.
Her bag was hanging from a chair with her coat over the top when it was unzipped and the bank card and driving licence were taken from the purse.
A large sum of money was then withdrawn from a bank in Dunstable.
Police are keen to speak to the woman pictured in relation to the theft.
Anyone with information on the identity of the woman pictured is asked to contact PC David Herring via the Hertfordshire Constabulary’s non-emergency number 101 quoting crime reference number C2/14/441.
