Residents will be able to use the newly refurbished Rickmansworth School pool after Three Rivers approved the £70,000 investment in return for public "pay and swim" sessions.
The district council’s executive committee agreed on awarding the grant, which will mean that residents will be able to use the facilities.

The investment will mean that the school will be able to install a Combined Heat and Power (CHP) unit and Ultra Violet (UV) filter, which should make the facilities more energy efficient.
The school is offering a free swim session between 10am and 4pm on Saturday, April 5 and Sunday, April 6.
Children under the age of 11 and non-swimmers must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times during the open weekend and access will be subject to the pools capacity.
