Year 4 children from Knutsford School in Watford proudly showed off their front pages created as part of a literary project on newspapers.
The children, aged 8 and 9, had to write stories and produce image and then lay out their pages after they were told their school uniforms were being changed to include green trousers.
An example of the children's work
Class teacher Catherine O’Neill said: "We tried to make the unit engaging and exciting for the children, so that they were able to feel like real journalists.
"The children were really engaged in this and thought up some fantastic questions to ask the head teacher, deputy head and other children in the class."
The children’s front pages are now on display at the school.
