A teenager has been arrested after a Domino’s Pizza delivery driver was assaulted in Abbots Langley.

Hertfordshire Constabulary said police were called at 8.09pm on Friday after the driver’s green Nissan Micra was surrounded by a group of youths in School Mead.

Police said the car was then kicked and dented before the 29-year-old driver got out and tried to leave.

He was then hit in the back of the head.

A 15-year-old boy from Abbots Langley was arrested on suspicion of common assault by police in a nearby field.

He has since been bailed until Monday April 14.
