Watford was treated to an unexpected water display as a pipe sent water flying into the air.
The top of the town is currently undergoing a £4.3million redevelopment. New features include the creation of a pond with an accompanying bridge, more trees and - for a short time on Monday only - a new fountain.
Alexander Clare, from Watford Borough Council, said: “Yesterday a water pipe was connected to a water-source resulting in an early April shower lasting approximately 30 seconds."
