An appeal lodged by Michael Smyth against Hertsmere Borough Council’s decision to refuse the demolition of a Radlett home to build a new five bedroom house with basement car parking has been dismissed.
The application for 21 Newberries Avenue was turned down because the new house would be "out of character with surroundings".
The appeal was determined by the written recommendations procedure.
