A war memorial in Watford is set to be spruced up due to a council cash grant.
The Christ Church war memorial and the horse trough, in Leavesden Road, will be repaired and renovated as part of the centenary of the start of the First World War.
The £1196.12 cost of the project is being funded from Hertfordshire County Council’s locality grant scheme.
