A man has been left with burns to his hands and face following a gas explosion in Flaunden.
The man in his forties has been taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital, Mandeville Road, Aylesbury. His injuries are not thought to be serious.
Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue service rushed to BJV Engineering Works, Flaunden Lane, Flaunden at 10.19 this morning after what appears to be a bottled gas explosion.
Hertfordshire County Council indicated that it doesn’t look like fire was involved in the incident and fire-fighters assisted with “structural safety”.
