Ian McDonald: convicted paedophile who fled from court captured by police
A convicted paedophile, who ran away from St Albans Crown Court, has been captured by police.
Ian McDonald made his escape on Thursday before the jury returned a guilty verdict against him indecent assault against a three-year-old child.
Following a county-wide appeal, officers tracked the 39-year-old to an address in Hemel Hempstead.
A 20-year-old man from Hemel Hempstead has also been arrested on suspicion of harbouring and assisting an offender in relation to the incident.
