A forthcoming funday in Watford has received a council cash boost.

Hertfordshire County Council has allocated £1,181.50 to the summer event at St John’s Church, in Sutton Road, which will have a bouncy castle, sideshows, stalls and St John Ambulance cover.

The money has come from the council’s locality budget scheme.
