The plans for this year’s Abbots Langley Carnival have been released.

The event, which is due to take place on Saturday 14 June, will see a mountain bike aerial display team take centre stage in the 32 edition of the popular event.

Team M.A.D, which is made up of former World and British champions, will perform a variety of stunts including jumps, hops and balance techniques.

Other events announced for the carnival include routines from local dance groups, Aviv and Hot & Bothered, Majorettes, performances from Harpenden Pipe Band and Abbots Langley School Choir, a dog show, dog agility displays, Punch and Judy, bouncy castles, a climbing wall, go-karts, shooting and plate smashing.

The Watford Lions, who began organising the event in January, will be donating all the money raised at the carnival to local charities and good causes.

The carnival is sponsored by Abbots Langley Parish Council and M.K.Ginder and Sons.
