The police are appealing for information after two people were hit by a car outside a Watford nightclub.

The offence occurred on Monday, April 7 at 1.30am outside the Cameo nightclub in the High Street.

A vehicle was driven towards the smoking area of the nightclub and collided with barriers before being driven further into the pedestrianised section of the road where a collision with two people occurred.

A 25-year-old man from Abbots Langley has been arrested in connection with the investigation and is currently on police bail.

Hertfordshire police is appealing for witnesses and information in connection with the offence.
