Financial services professionals, led by Neil Clarke of Lucas Fettes & Partners, raised £13,759.50 for Peace Hospice Care during the annual dinner at Sopwell House hotel in St Albans.
The group has been meeting for 21 years and during that time they have raised more than £104,000 for the charity.
The event was extra special for Toastmaster Howard Robbins who was presented with an engraved gavel and block to mark 20 years presiding over the event.
Neil Clarke praised his skills as Toastmaster and Auctioneer, saying: "With Howard at the helm the charity auction is always a great success - this year guests went away with fantastic lots such as England and Wales rugby tickets, a trip on a yacht and a day at the Chelsea Flower Show."
Corporate development manager at Peace Hospice Care, Rachel Fowler, said: "This is a fabulous event and the amount raised both this year and over its 21 year history really does help us to continue providing vital services to patients and families across south west Hertfordshire."
