More than £800 was raised at pub in Bushey Heath to raise money for a children’s hospice.
Ben Pirie hosted the evening at The Three Crowns, which was attended by more than 70 friends and family.
The 24-year-old who lives in Borehamwood is currently taking part in ten different events over 12 months, including a cycle ride from London to Paris, the 2014 London, Paris and New York Marathons, The London to Brighton and Grand Union Ultra Marathons and two iron man challenges, London Triathlon.
He is raising money to celbraye the ten year anniversary of Haven House Children’s Hospice.
Mr Pirie said: "Back in January I had an idea to take on a big challenge to raise money for a good cause. After visiting Haven House and seeing the amazing facilities they provide and the difference they make to the lives of local children and their families, I knew straight away that I wanted to help.
"It is going to be a very tough year of training and commitment, but it will be worth every mile if I manage to reach my target of £10,000 for Haven House."
