Waste and recycling collections in Bushey, Radlett and Aldenham will change over the Easter bank holiday.
Collections of black bins and blue boxes on Good Friday will change to Saturday and collections of green and brown bins and black boxes will change by one day during the week commencing Easter Monday.
Normal collections will resume from Monday 28 April.
Head of Street Scene for Hertsmere Borough Council, Steve Burton, said: "Some Easter eggs have a lot of packaging so help us protect the environment by recycling as much as you can.
"You can put waste foil and plastic in your brown bin and, in the unlikely event you have any chocolate to throw away, this can go in your green bin."
