More than 100 properties in Rickmansworth have been left without power
Engineers are currently working to restore power to 131 homes in Ebury Road after a fault on a low voltage underground cable in the early hours of this morning.
Jessica Gallagher, spokesman for UK Power Networks, said: "Power was originally interrupted to 87 customers at about 3am today and was returned to normal by about 5am. However a further 27 customers were affected again at about 6.45am.
"We would like to reassure our customers that engineers are working hard to locate and repair the fault.
"In order for them to safely carry out the work, power to a further 104 customers had to be isolated at about 11am.
"We realise how difficult it is to be without power and apologise for any inconvenience."
It is not yet clear how long the work will take to restore power to Rickmansworth residents.
