Pink ladies will take to the streets at night to raise money for a Northwood hospice this summer.

The annual night stroll will take place on Friday, June 6 in aid of the Michael Sobell Hospice, based at Mount Vernon Hospital, in Rickmansworth Road.

Registration for the event will open at 8.30pm and the walk will begin at 10pm, taking participants around the streets of Northwood and Moor Park.

The Ladies in the Night Walk event is also open to men and dogs and last year more than £50,000 was raised by nearly 500 walkers.

The event will kick off with a fun warm up session before taking walkers through the area, finishing at the hospice for breakfast.

Supporters can tackle either a 5.5mile route or a 9 mile route and are requested to turn up in pink fancy dress with flashing accessories.

The hospice provides care, comfort and support for people facing life limiting illnesses. The team at the hospice offers medical and nursing care, along with support for patients, their families and carers.

Entry is £20 and includes a t-shirt, fundraising pack and breakfast.
