An Abbots Langley care home has opened an art exhibition for one of its residents.

Margaret House, Parsonage Close, set up a display for Robin Southwood’s paintings on Wednesday, April 23 and will be open for two weeks.

The care home set up the exhibition after a number of Mr Southwood's paintings were put up around the care home and they wanted to thank him for his work.

In 2010, a purpose built shed was set up within the grounds for Robin to paint in.

Coni Anang, home manager of Margaret House, said: "We are very lucky to have such a talented artist here at Margaret House and look forward to sharing these beautiful paintings with the local community."

The display was officially opened by Councillor Brenda Kersey from Abbots Langley Parish Council.
