Opening hours for pubs in Dacorum during this summer's World Cup in Brazil could be relaxed during England matches.

The borough council's licensing and health and safety enforcement committee will be discussing extended hours for pubs this evening.

Prime Minister David Cameron ordered a "re-think" about the Home Office's refusal to allow pubs to stay open for later games.

England’s first game, against Italy, kicks off at 11pm on Saturday, June 14.

The meeting is being held at the Council Chamber, Civic Centre, Hemel Hempstead and will begin at 7pm.
