Athletic men and women needed for charity Get Down and Dirty event
A Northwood hospice is looking for people to take part in a Get Down and Dirty event.
The Michael Sobell Hospice, based at Mount Vernon Hospital, is holding the event at The Nuts Challenge army assault course, in Surrey, on Saturday, August 30 at 12pm.
The hospice is looking for athletic men and women to tackle the 7km obstacle course.
Places for the event are now closed to the public but the hospice has 30 charity places for those who register before the end of May.
The Nuts Challenge course is owned and run by ex-parachute regiment soldiers and is designed to push individuals to the limit.
There will be more than 100 obstacles, including Hell River, Hamburger Hill, The Bunker, Tunnel Rats, Kamikaze and A Bridge Too Far.
Those who enrol onto this event pledge to raise at least £300 in sponsorship for the hospice.
Participants will be given a branded item to wear and given help with creating an online fundraising page with JustGiving.
