Thousands of pounds worth of cigarettes were stolen from a supermarket in Kings Langley last night.
Police were called to the Spar Supermarket at 2.30am last night after reports of a burglary which saw more than £7,000 worth of cigarettes stolen.
Officers found the doors forced open and the cigarette shelves cleared.
The shop has re-opened after it was closed this morning while investigations started.
Anyone with information in relation to the crime is asked to contact Dacorum’s Local Crime Unit via Hertfordshire Constabulary’s non-emergency number 101, citing crime reference D1/14/2597.
