Three people have been taken to hospital following a six-car crash on the A41.

Ambulances were called at 8.09am after a collision on the west-bound carriageway between Hemel Hempstead and Watford.

Ambulance officer Tabatha Saunders, who attended the scene said: "All three patients received slight injuries and they were all taken to Watford General Hospital for further care."

Three ambulances and a rapid-response car attended the scene.

And how long did it take the ambulances to get them to the A&E at that time of day?
Surely it makes far better sense to have a general hospital and A&E that serves Hemel, St. Albans and Watford located in the middle of the three areas? Close to the motorways, main roads and train lines that criss-cross the region.

Have to agree but these morons do not know how to use fast roads.
There should be a government tv advertisement showing how to drive safely on motorways.

Since when has the A41 been a motorway? It is only a dual carriageway and the reason there are so many accidents on it is due to morons who think they are driving on a motorway. They forget there is no extra lane to go into when a lorry pulls out in front of them.

And no, we don't need any government adverts showing us how to drive. We just need people to drive properly, the way they are supposed to have been taught!

I fail to see how you can jump to the conclusion that this incident was caused by "morons" driving? you weren't there and you have no clue what caused it! could have been anything from a blown tyre to an animal running across the road.

Or that should be part of a test. A tv advert would just get people moaning anyway about a nanny state, unfortunately a lot of people need to be nannied they just dont know it

I jump to that conclusion because the majority of the time that is the case.
I have been driving on motorways for many years and yet to see an animal causing an accident so my theory has more clout that your pathetic reasons.
