Late night hit-and-run left man with leg injuries

Police are investigating a hit-and-run incident that happened in central Watford last night.

A pedestrian in this 40s was left with leg injuries after being struck by a silver Peugeot 206 in Ebury Road at around 11.30pm.

The victim was treated by paramedics and later taken to Watford General Hospital.

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call Hertfordshire Constabulary via its non-emergency number 101.
